Preserving Florida

Let’s protect the Apalachicola River for future generations.

Support Hugh’s RiverTrek

In late October 2025, Hugh joins a team for a 107 mile, 5-day paddle to raise funds for Apalachicola Riverkeeper – a non-profit providing stewardship and advocacy for the dynamic river, floodplain, and bay system. 100% of the funds raised support the Riverkeeper’s advocacy, education and outreach mission.

Watch Hugh’s video and get a sense of the great and wild Apalachicola. “Cola” means “friend / people” and “apalachi” means “on the other side.” Be a friend on the other side of the river for future generations and make a donation to support Hugh’s RiverTrek today.
